Ahmed Hammoud.

Ahmad Hammoud is a design graduate from the German University in Cairo, Egypt. His main area of interest is visual culture with a specific focus on popular design. He started his project samak laban, a platform that documents and talks about popular design and vernacular visual culture. Additionally, he is interested in critical research design as a method of political and social analysis of contemporary Egypt, using multiple medium like infographics, typography, and photography. Hammoud's work was featured in: Cairo Now! City Incomplete Exhibition, Dubai Design Week 2017 as well as the 100 Best Arabic Posters Competition.
