Kinda Hassan

Kinda Hassan.

Kinda Hassan (1984) is versatile Lebanese artist for whom video and sound are only two of the media used. She uses forms that capture a reality in an act of denouncement, revealing that which is not usually seen. Her works have been exhibited or screened at various festivals, museums and art galleries. Hassan completed her Master's degree in Fine Arts at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts «ALBA» in 2007, and her Sound Design Master’s degree at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux Arts «ESBA-TALM» in 2018. In her latest works, she experiments with the relationship between sound and the space in which it is diffused, focusing on sound spatialization in multichannel installations. She explores acoustics and phenomena of resonance and weaves them into the immaterial past and present realities of a given space.
