Nermin Abbassi is a master’s student in political sciences at the University of Cologne. Her focus topics are Middle Eastern and migration studies from cultural and political perspectives. She has previously worked on how pop music enhances political legitimacy of Islamist parties in Lebanon and Tunisia. Moreover, she’s a member of the artistic committee of the cultural local festival «Hergla Respire L’Art» back in Tunisia, where she manages artistic workshops for young people.
